Loringhoven Luxury Safes

Using high-gloss lacquers, leathers, engravings and diamond finish, Loringhoven elevates the high-security safe to luxury objet d’art

Combining state-of-the-art security technology with exquisite design and craftsmanship, Loringhoven High Security Luxury Safes provides a beautiful and truly bespoke solution for keeping valuables and treasured items safe – yet accessible at all times –at home or
in the office.

The company was founded in 2013 by Baroness Olga von Loringhoven, who recognized a gap in the market for luxury high-end safes that were beautifully designed and tailored to the customer’s specific needs and preferences. “I really love the product and was able to intensively consider its integral design,” explains Olga. “I’ve worked within the home-security sector for many years, visited a huge number of exhibitions and looked at all kinds of different safes. At some point I just knew that I could do it better. I knew that I could perfect the quality of the safe and its design to fulfil customers’ needs down to the most exacting level of detail.”

Loringhoven Luxury Safes became a fusion of in-depth knowledge of the home-security sector and a passion for beautiful interior design. Every element of each safe can be customized to the client’s requirements, from the size and safety level to the interior fittings and the exterior finish. Materials used can include high-quality leather, high-gloss lacquer or a diamond finish made with raw diamonds. Additional features – created from precious woods or metal as well as a diamond-encrusted monogram – can be added as a final flourish.

All Loringhoven safes are manufactured in Germany using the finest materials, expert craftsmanship and the most advanced technology available on the market. Passion for detail sets the Loringhoven safes apart from the competition. In terms of interior fittings, each customer is offered a selection of tip-on drawers, customized hand-made trays for jewellery, made-to-measure shelves and compartments, as well as watch winders for automatic watches.

Loringhoven safes are certified for the European security level VdS III, which is recommended by most insurance companies for safes intended for personal use. Nevertheless an even higher security level can be provided upon request. The shell and door of each safe are double-walled and filled with a patented alloy material that cannot be penetrated by diamond drill or laser. A state-of-the-art electronically controlled locking system adds another level of security.

Prices start at around €45,000 for a Loringhoven safe, and Olga describes her customers as those who are prepared to spend a substantial sum in order to have the very best. Selecting a luxury safe can be likened to choosing a classic car, and indeed one Loringhoven limited-edition model – named Emily – was inspired by classic car interior design.

While providing high-level security for valuables, coupled with convenience for the customer, Loringhoven safes are also made to be admired rather than hidden away. As Olga says, “If you prefer to keep things which are really precious to you close and safe, why not keep them in an object that is secure but at the same time beautiful?”
